Michael Lewis

I've always had a fascination with visual arts. I began as a stage lighting designer. An understanding of light is essential to photography, and I found that many of the same skills I learned as a lighting designer could translate well into my new profession.

I’ve recently had the honor of having my work published in magazines such as Legendary Model Magazine and photography and more. You can also see some of my work on display at the Manchester Arts Center.

I'm based in Coffee County, but I also serve the Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Chattanooga areas.

My photography has a classic feel to it that hearkens back to the Golden Age of Hollywood. When you see your photos for the first time you’ll feel like a movie star.

Artistic Illumination

As a former stage lighting designer I know that lighting is one of the most, if not the most important element of photography. I love using light to create an interesting atmosphere. From studio lighting to natural light, I’m up for any challenge that requires artistic illumination.

Creative Composition

I strive to compose the most interesting images possible. I look for elements that could be used in the foreground and background of my images. As well as using advanced techniques to frame the subject of my photograph.
